AVA strengthens sustainability team - welcome Mathilda Heindorff

AVA Corporate Communications is strengthening its sustainability team and welcomes Mathilda Heindorff as an associate.
Mathilda will work as an associate focusing on sustainability and financial communications. She has a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree in sustainable business from Örebro University. Mathilda joins AVA from Deloitte, where she worked on auditing sustainability reporting of listed companies. She has also completed an internship as a sustainability consultant at Hallvarsson & Halvarsson. Additionally, she has several years of experience as a finance assistant, with expertise in various financial processes such as accounting, bookkeeping, and purchasing.
At AVA, Mathilda will primarily work on the implementation of the EU's new sustainability directive CSRD, which introduces new requirements for companies' sustainability reporting, with a particular focus on double materiality and reporting according to ESRS standards. At the same time, additional legislation is underway with CSDDD, requiring companies to manage their social and environmental impact throughout the value chain. Mathilda will also work with the EU's Green Claims Directive, which aims to prevent misleading information and strengthen confidence in companies' sustainability efforts.
